Hi Hamama Friends! To all the bird lovers in our Hamama community . . . . today is 'Bird Day!!' The first Bird day was celebrated over 100 years ago in 1894 by Charles Almanzo Babcock. Birds day is a day to admire our feathered friends as well as to talk about the ways that we can help preserve all bird species for future generations. 🐦 Some fun facts about birds: Most Hummingbirds weigh less than a nickel² There are about 10,000 known birds species³ Pigeons can recognize human faces² Birds Communicate Using Sound and Color² The penguin is the only bird that can swim, but not fly.
