Broccamole

Recipe:  Broccamole!

Makes: 4-6 Servings (double the recipe to make more!)

Have an at-home fiesta with this tasty and fun broccamole recipe! .

 

Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup chopped broccoli, steamed
  • ½ fresh lime
  • 2 large avocados, or 3 medium avocados
  • ½ small red onion, diced
  • 1 roma tomato, chopped
  • 3 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Sea salt - to taste
  • Ground pepper (optional)

 

Instructions: 

  1. Steam broccoli until tender and allow to cool
  2. In a food processor, add broccoli and process until very fine.
  3. Add all of the ingredients to a large mixing bowl, mash the avocado with a fork, and combine the broccoli with avocado mixture.
  4. Garnish with Hamama Hearty Broccoli microgreens and a bit more fresh cilantro
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste
  6. Serve up with crunchy blue corn tortilla chips

Tip! You can also enjoy this healthy broccamole as a topping on your fresh green salad or on Allie’s Falafel Tacos
