Slowly simmered tomatoes, garlic, cinnamon and allspice pair perfectly with these delicious french green beans. Nourishing, rich in flavor and perfect as a side for any meal! Ingredients: 1 ½ lbs french green beans 1 onion, chopped finely 3 garlic cloves, chopped finely 1 (16 oz) can diced tomatoes ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil 1 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp allspice ½ tsp salt ⅛ tsp pepper Garnish: Hamama microgreens Salt and pepper to taste Instructions: In a medium-sized pan, saute the onion in olive oil over medium heat and cook until softened and translucent. Add the green beans and saute until they get a bit of color and the onions turn a golden brown. Add garlic and saute for another minute. Add tomatoes, cinnamon, allspice, salt and pepper. Cover the pan and let it simmer until the beans are cooked to your liking and the juices of the tomatoes and the spices have come together, about 20 minutes.
