This is a fun new pesto to make that’s absolutely delicious! The ingredients are pretty familiar with a little added flare. Hamama garlicky chive microgreens or oniony leeks microgreens will add notes of garlic, onion and even a hint of cucumber! Enjoy this fresh pesto on pasta, pizza, eggs and more.

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup garlicky chives or oniony leeks microgreens
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • ½ cup fresh parsley leaves
  • ½ cup pine nuts
  • ½ lemon, juiced
  • 3 garlic cloves, peeled
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ⅓ cup olive oil, (more or less for desired consistency)

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients into your food processor except the olive oil and blend until smooth. Add the olive oil slowly until you reach your desired consistency.
  2. Add to any dish (like our delicious Mushroom and Leek Galette) right away or store in the fridge or even your freezer so it keeps longer.
